Not much quacking lately

I've been sick. Maybe it was the swine flu, and that I would have needed some oinkment. Didn't have it verified but I was sick as I haven't been in many, many years. Today it feels somewhat better, but it's still early and once this terrible heat sets in again my feeling good will probably go down. Nuff said about that.

The other day I wrote a post here that was entitled 'Customized'. Shouldn't have done that because nobody could read it -- it got sort of lost.Today it doesn't matter...it was not any greater ode to humanity anyway.

Our Saint John Flickr group has ... changed somewhat, and a new group have emerged from the original group. Everything changes all the time. I don't know what will happen with our photo walks which I have enjoyed immensely. From a sociological point of view it's perhaps interesting to see how people interact -- even online -- but I'm not into that so it isn't funny.

Yesterday we took a drive up the Saint John River ... the old river road. We drove from Saint John up to Evandale. Took three ferries to get back home in the evening.

There's so much beauty. I missed a shot of a bald eagle near Brown Flats. Instead I decided to shoot a great deal of wildflowers. They're lovely right now and so many of them are new to me even though others are old and familiar.

You have a great selection of photos here. All nice.
Hope it wasn't the Swine Flu.
We have had so much of it nearby in the city.
Are you printing out many of your photos for an album?

I've never printed anything.. Well, except one of G. and the lads that he wanted.

I only look at them online..  Perhaps I should. There are so many printing offers on the web..

Sorry to hear about the flu. Love that cow and "pillows" in the field. I took a photo of an orange flower like yours last week, do you know what it is?

Lol@oinkment I'm sorry you are feeling poorly still. Sometimes that seems to hang on forever. I love the florals. I was thinking last night it's so much easier to shoot them because they sit still. I think the small pink flower is Crown Vetch isn't it? Is the other a Morning Glory? Beautiful They are one of my favorites. We used to have deep blue ones when I was a kid.

I haven't checked out the flowers yet, but that pink one definitely must be some kind of Morning Glory. The first year in QC, I had blue Morning Glory. Lovely flower..one of my favorites.
