Logos

This morning, in the summary I receive from Posterous, I came across a post from my online contact Zee. Here's the link: http://zee.posterous.com/popular-logos-with-hidden-symbolisms-0

It was quite amazing ... logos that you've seen thousands of times but never noticed the symbolism in them...at least I, hadn't.

This brought to mind a small bus line we have here in the Maritime provinces... Acadian. When I see their buses I think of their logo and how it's quite clever.

New Brunswick is Canada's only, officially bilingual province and this bus line's name... Acadian, would be Acadien in French.. hence the second last letter in the logo.

How interesting. I looked at the link and I have never noticed any of the hidden symbols.

Are the schools in New Brunswick bilingual throughout the twelve years?

No, it's not bilingual that way.. It's just that everything, like signs and stuff has to be in English and French. They're not hysterical about it at all...

Parents can send their kids to school in French if they want to -- it's called French immersion.
